By the Hexagon Cup team

Nagami, a 3D printing design company, will be responsible for designing and manufacturing the trophies, players' benches, and other furniture elements, all using recycled plastics.

Madrid, 29 January 2024 - Hexagon Cup, the new padel tournament with a mission to transform the 20 x 10 sport, announces its partnership with Nagami to merge sport with sustainability. This union will bring sustainability into the world of sports in an innovative way by using recycled plastic to turn trophies, team benches, totems, and other event furniture elements into spectacularly designed pieces made sustainably.

Nagami, a company from Avila founded in 2016, is known for its futuristic and creative approach to design and architecture. The company will take on the responsibility of designing and manufacturing the key elements of the Hexagon Cup, showcasing the versatility and aesthetic potential of sustainable materials, as well as the sustainability of robotic printing. This advanced technology will play a crucial role in realising this sustainable vision. The products will be made by robots, emphasising the importance of reducing the carbon footprint at all stages of production.

Hexagon Cup, known for its commitment to excellence in padel, sees this partnership as an opportunity to lead the way towards more sustainable sports practices. "Our partnership with Nagami reflects our commitment to raising the standard in the world of padel," says Carlos Almazán, Director of Institutional Relations at Hexagon Cup. "We want to demonstrate that sustainability can coexist perfectly with sports passion, creating a unique experience for participants and spectators."

"We believe that design should be as innovative and creative as it is sustainable. It's essential to keep in mind the importance of resource reduction, such as reusing existing ones, and that this has a positive impact on the environment and therefore the world we live in. At Nagami, we know this is possible and work towards it every day," says Manuel Jimenez García, CEO & Co-founder of Nagami.

This collaboration between Hexagon Cup and Nagami promises not just an exceptional padel tournament but also sets a new standard for the successful convergence of sport, sustainable design, and environmental responsibility.
